Loyalty Scheme

The Royalty Loyalty scheme is a reward programme we have been running since January 2012 which allows our regular guests to benefit the most from their continued support of the hotel by booking direct either on our website or over the phone.

At check in you will be given a special voucher, found in your room keycard – ask Reception to “stamp” this voucher with each night you have stayed, build up the points and redeem them when you want.

  • 3 vouchers = a bottle of house wine.
  • 5 vouchers = free upgrade to a deluxe room (deluxe rooms are larger and include a bottle of wine).
  • 10 vouchers = one free overnight stay in a standard room including breakfast for two people.

You will receive one voucher for each night of a paid stay at the hotel (booked direct with us), therefore if you stay for 3 nights you will receive 3 vouchers.

Please note the Loyalty Club vouchers do not apply to group bookings or corporate rates where special arrangements will exist anyway.

Rewards cannot be claimed during a current stay with the Hotel – they must be used towards the next stay/visit.

All redemptions for free stays must be booked through reservations. Reservations are usually available 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday or on reservations@theroyalhotel.uk.com.

Free stays must be of equal / equivalent value of the individual nights used to earn the relevant number of stays. Free stays are usually only redeemable Sunday to Thursday and not available during rugby events or large city events. For weekend free stays, we will discuss an appropriate redemption value with the difference in rate to be charged.

This scheme is intended as a genuine reward scheme for those that have chosen to stay at The Royal Hotel Cardiff and book direct with us. In order to redeem the vouchers, the number of directly booked previous stays will be verified (stays booked through booking agents do not count). There is no restriction to collecting the vouchers between a group of friends/family , eg. if a few of you want to collect them and give a free stay to someone else, that’s fine, we will simply verify the stays of all members of the group. All redemptions will be recorded and only one gift offered at any one point. For the greater rewards you will have to accumulate the stays without prior redemption.
