Located just a two minute walk away, the Royal is a perfect base for a shopping weekend in Cardiff – in the run up to Christmas or otherwise!
There is also the Capitol and Queens Arcade Shopping Centres to enjoy and if you prefer your shops a little more boutique, then why not visit the seven different shopping arcades. The Royal Arcade links the Hotel to the St David’s Shopping Centre. Cardiff Market is also open six days a week, a great stop for a coffee or fresh produce!
If this wasn’t enough (!) throughout the year there are seasonal markets open in the city centre – most Saturdays there is an open air market on St Mary’s Street, a farmers market opposite the Principality Stadium and Christmas markets are open from November – January each year.
